| Weekly Digital Roundup: Icing Spark Mandrill
Added: 02.06.2013 4:17 | 16 views | 0 comments
"You know nostalgias got you by the balls when you have this strong urge to purchase Mega Man X on the Wii U eShop even though you already own it in cartridge form. Icing Spark Mandrill with Shotgun Ice on the GamePad is now possible.
Aside from the Capcom duo of Ghosts n Goblins and Mega Man X on the eShop (complete with a 50% off sale when you purchase both), Nintendo unleashed a duo of its own with the GBC classics The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Ages and its companion game, Oracle of Seasons on 3DS. Both are yours for $10 and still allow you to link to each others games via a code system.
PSN users can now pre-order The Last of Us (how psyched are you for it?), and Vita Plus subscribers may take satisfaction in knowing that Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extended is free, along with some Soul Sacrifice DLC. Oh, and The Warriors PS2 Classic? Totally worth it."

| Review: Soul Sacrifice (DarkZero)
Added: 31.05.2013 20:17 | 15 views | 0 comments
"Sonys Vita is still crying for that game to signal a rebirth. The Vita hasn't hit its stride and Sony bizarrely hasn't gone into panic mode yet, something Nintendo did when the 3DS was lacking momentum after its release, pumping out quality games to get people interested in the system. This is something Sony needs to do. Sure, some games are good on the Vita, and one of them, Persona 4 Golden, is one of the best I have ever played...but its an enhanced port, which isn't quite as amazing as having a high-quality, original game for the Vita." "Thankfully the first major co-op action RPG for the PS Vita, Soul Sacrifice, is far from being a disappointment, offering players an addictive blend of combat and character progression that is equally rewarding whether you play alone or take the fight online."

| Soul Sacrifice Review - Glitch Cat

Glitch Cat - When it comes down to it, Soul Sacrifice is a great game, full of fun combat, loads of replay value, and some of the best multiplayer Ive seen in a handheld console. While it does have a couple of issues here and there, like idiotic A.I. and repetitive missions, its a game thatll keep players coming back for more and more, and then some.

Analog Addiction writes: "By what measure do human beings weigh the worth of their souls? Its not an easy question, nor is it a difficult one, but its a question that is continually asked with every sacrifice made in Sonys latest Vita game, Soul Sacrifice. Its asked when we choose our equipment before missions; its asked when we choose to murder or save our hunt, its asked when we are on the brink of death so many times. Its a dim metaphor of a game, but it is also its greatest strength. While Soul Sacrifice is by no means the killer app the Vita deserves, it is still one of 2013s most unique games of the year. With that said, is it any good?"
